I have lost the CD for tha above notebook, now I need the complete recovery CD, and I need to download the same from Internet :) |

Hello rkm100, You can find your drivers in downloadable form here: http://h20015.www2.hp.com/hub_search/taskPageSelect.jhtml?lc=en&pagetype=software&prodId=compaqpres95185&sw_lang=en&lang=en&cc=us (Click Windows XP or Windows 2000). To use these drivers, you will need to have a retail or OEM version of either Windows 2000 or Windows XP. You can also order a collection of these drivers for about $10 here: https://www.compaqordercenter.com/sscd/secdefault.asp?recid=&os= Unfortunately, the complete recovery cd-rom cannot be downloaded because Compaq can only give one operating system license per user (they would have to pay for each download). As their website states: "The Presario Software Enhancement CD Kit does not come with a licensed operating system. Your PC must already have a licensed operating system installed." As you may know Compaq was acquired by HP.
