Hi There !

I have an Aventura 19" TV with built-in VHS VCR.
This thing is a piece of junk, but I've come to love it.

Why? Because after you reach the end of a videotape,
it automatically rewinds the tape to the beginning
and begins playing again. None of my other units
(Toshiba, Sony, Samsung) work in this manner.

They either:
(1) stop, or
(2) stop---rewind---stop.

If the viewer does not interrupt the Aventura sequence, the tape
will essentially play continuously day-after-day.

I've come to love this feature. It helps in business,
with pets, etc.

Now my aging Aventura is on its last legs.

A 5-star answer would be two different models.

In summary, features would include:
(1) play-stop-rewind-play
(2) 19" to 35"
(3) TV - VCR combination

All comments greatly appreciated !

Hi nronronronro,

This dysfunctional feature you are talking about is actually not so
dysfunctional after all. :)
The term for it is "auto repeat".

"Repeat Playback: When Auto Repeat is turned on, when the video tape
reaches the end, it will automatically rewind to the beginning and
begin playback again."

I'd suggest you also consider DVD. Repeat play is pretty standard on
DVD players (often between two 'bookmarks' so you can choose which
segments to repeat), there is no rewind time, and no physical wear on
the disk. If it's for business use, it's no longer expensive to get a
DVD with your own content burnt.
