I have an image that is a .jpg on Windows 2000 and need to send it to
a customer with MacOS.  How can I tell if my image is Mac compatible?

Hello Ihb,

As Dave991 notes, the JPEG file you have should be compatible. If you
are satisfied with that answer, I suggest you close the question. If
want a more definitive answer, can you say what version of Mac OS your
customer uses (e.g., 10.2, 9.1) and the application they expect to
use? Based on that, I can run a quick test on my machine to see if it
works OK. If not, I can suggest another (free) application that will
do the job.

Hello Ihb,

I read your comment and thought I should make a short explanation.
Dave991 is another user - like you are. All comments are offered free
of charge. Only a registered researcher (like myself) can "answer" the
question and be paid.

a Mac, quick time (which is free and is available for all apple os you

There are also many other common free and commercial software packages
around. If you can open it on your pc I would put good money on being
able to open it on a Mac.
