I have an image that is a .jpg on Windows 2000 and need to send it to a customer with MacOS. How can I tell if my image is Mac compatible? | |

Most any format of anything you can open o a pc you can easily open on a Mac, quick time (which is free and is available for all apple os you are likely to encounter) supports the following formats: Import file formats 3DMF (Mac OS 9 and Windows) 3GPP 3GPP2 AIFF AMC AMR Animated GIF AU Audio CD Data (Mac OS 9) AVI BMP Cubic VR DLS DV FlashPix* FLC GIF GSM JPEG 2000 (Mac OS X) JPEG/JFIF Karaoke MacPaint Macromedia Flash 5 MPEG-1 MP3(MPEG-1, Layer 3) M3U(MP3 Playlist files) MPEG-2** MPEG-4 M4A, M4B, M4P (iTunes 4 audio) PDF (Mac OS X) Photoshop* PICS PICT PLS PNG QCP QuickTime Image File QuickTime Movie SD2 (SoundDesigner 2) SDP SDV SF2 (SoundFont 2) SGI SMIL System 7 Sound (Mac OS 9) Targa Text TIFF* TIFF Fax VDU (Sony Video Disk Unit) Virtual Reality (VR) Waves There are also many other common free and commercial software packages around. If you can open it on your pc I would put good money on being able to open it on a Mac. |
