I would like to know the number of banks (credit unions, banks,
mortgage banks, depositories, etc..) that allow consumers the ability to
apply for a home loan over the internet in the USA.  For example,
there are about 9,000 banking institutions in the USA.  I'm trying to
find out how many have internet mortgage banking websites.

I'm particularly interested in the break down between types of
institutions (commercial banks, mortage banks, credit unions,
community banks, etc..)
