The question relates to annual consumer revenues (retail dollars)
spent in a specific sector of the pet related industry.
The question is:
What were the annual revenues (retail dollars spent) in the electronic
dog training area? This information should be based on the latest
data avaliable. For example, the year 2003 would be best, but is
probably not avaliable. Data from 2000, 2001,2002 would be
acceptable. Electronic training relates to several items, for
example, bark collars, 'invisible fence' containment systems, hunting
dog training radios, etc. This information is contained within a
publication of pet industry related data. I do not have access to
this publlication. |

There is an alternate question, that if answered, would meet my needs.
How many units of each type training gear were sold in a specific
year. For example (using made up data):
IN THE YEAR 2003:
1.barking collars SOLD = 90,000 units
2.containment systems SOLD = 125,000 units
3.radio based training systems SOLD = 50,000 units NOTE- (this type
sytem requires the user to visually discover that the dog is behaving
in an undesirable manner (digging for example), and using a radio
signal to apply correction via a receiver on the dog collar.
4. total units electronic training systems = 265,000 unit sold in 2003
