There are many laws for fundraising for various types of businesses
and groups. Could you please be more specific about what type of group
you're inquiring about and about any specific rules you're looking
for?

Thanks,

Thanks for your clarification.
I now have a couple more questions. Would this be a corporation, and
individual or a non-profit organization that conducts this
fundraising? In which state? Would fundraising happen in multiple
states? Would the ads run in a particular state? In which state? Would
the ads run in multiple states?
Thanks,

darrel-ga

I now see that you mentioned Florida as the state. Is this the only
state in which fundraising would be conducted and ads would run?

I apologize for all the clarification requests. But I want to make
sure I accurately meet your needs.

Is there a specific rule you're looking for, or are you just looking
for laws in general? If there's a specific situation you're dealing
with that you need to know which laws would apply, that would be
helpful.

Volumes have been written about these subjects. Would several web
links that direct you to the appropriate fundraising rules be a
satisfactory answer?

Thanks,

darrel-ga

If the candidate is standing for a Federal office, then the recent
McCain-Feingold law will govern contributions. In other words, the
fundraising and ultimate contributions would be subject to the
biennial cycle limits.

See: Federal Election Commission

The 501 (charitable/not-for-profit) committees (e.g., Moveon.org) are
exempt, but cannot engage in advertising for or against a candidate,
only in educational advertising.
