I am looking for the very rare seeds for the plant slavia divinorum.
I have found several companies that offer seeds for sale at times, but
none that have any right now. These include:

http://www.salvia-extract.net/store/salvia-seeds.html
http://www.salvia-divinorum.ca/store/salvia-divinorum.html
http://www.sagewisdom.org/salviashop.html
http://www.salviasupply.com/store/salvia-seeds.html

..and so on. Most of these seeds come from the island of Hawaii. I
am aware of the very low propagation rate (less than 10%) and high
cost of seeds, but am interested in expanding the genetic diversity of
this rare species.

I would like the contact information for one or, preferably, more than
one company/individual who has 10 or more salvia divinorum seeds for
sale right NOW. (must be available to Canada)

Thank you, I appreciate your help, looking for me. Cuttings for this
plant are rather common tho, especially compared to the seeds. It is
the seeds I am really after. I would be very greatful if you could
find any seeds available. Richters looks like an interesting company
also, thanks!

I did a search at groups.google.com for Diviners sage they say the
plant rarely sets seed and that the seed rarely germinates.

Yes, as I said they are rare, but I have talked to someone in Hawaii
who had 1000 seeds in one year (total from around 1000 plants.) He
planted about 100 himself, of which 30 germinated. Around 10 of those
30 made it to adult plants. He sold the other seeds through a store
in California. That was three years ago. Two years ago he only got
one seed, and this year he will have 15 or so. I would still like to
find someone who will sell me some now.

$10.00 is as high as I can go, I know this is a dificult thing to
find, but I do think it is possible for an expert researcher up to the
challenge.

Salvia seeds can be purchased at this ebay website. Also keep an eye
out as there are occasionally other auctions listing these seeds. Once
you get your seeds be sure to take a look at that sagewisdom.org
website if you haven't already, look in the user's guide where it will
give you a lot of info on growing and cultivating your plant. Good
luck!
