Dear mendy9,
I would like to avoid any misunderstanding. Do you really want to set
up a chat room, where "real time" conversation is going on between the
participants?
Or do you rather mean a web board, also known as a forum, where the
participants can read what others wrote, add replies and comments, and
start new discussions? Something similar to this example?

I could show you how to load a ready-made, free chat room onto your
web site. This would be at no cost. Would this be something you're
interested in?

Thanks, Scriptor. It should, of course, be web site.

Mendy--
I had answered this question once, and it says it was pulled by the
editor. Would you like me to re-post my answer?
