I am looking for a board game that I had as a child in the 1970s. I
can't remember the name, but it had a purple plastic owl
(approximately 6-8 inches tall)that you inserted round cards into (the
cards were a little bigger than a quarter and had glow in the dark
keys on the back.) You looked through the owl's eyes to see what the
card said. I lived in Vermont, USA as the time. I would love to
ficure out which game this is! Can you help?

Hi gflies,

I have only been able to locate one dealer who sells this game used.
Here is the description:

SCREECH BOARD GAME
"Instructions are in English and also on the back of them are
instructions in French. This is a family game for 2 to 4 players ages
6 to 108. The game consists of the game board, 34 road pieces, 19
SCREECH success cards, a bundle of money and 4 cars.~~~~The object is
for the players to set out to find success. To find success each
player must push the road to be able to drive to their success. The
first person to reach $1,000,000.00 and return to their starting point
will be the winner. This may sound simple, but it isn't, since each
person is trying to find a different success. Complete instructions
included. Box has wear and tape still on it, but contents of Game
itself in nice and clean condition."

Would the information for purchasing this be of interest to you?

Regards,
rainbow~

Hi rainbow,

Thank you for looking this up for me. The Board game you described is
not actually the one that I am looking for. I am looking for a game
called Screech that you play in the dark. There is a description and
piture of it on this link
http://tesla.liketelevision.com/liketelevision/vip/alawatch.php?theme=guide&url=/liketelevision/videogen/watchit/watchit.php?channel=423&parts=1&channel=423&p=1

It was made by Parker Brothers in either 1970 or 1972. It contains a
purple plastic owl adn little round cards that glow in teh dark when
you look at them through the owl's eyes....

Can you find it???
