Hi mls813, The name of the fish that Norman and the boy were trying to catch through the movie was Walter: <On Golden Pond> "...Thus begins the relationship between Norman and the young boy, the son he never had. After a rough start they are soon inseparable friends on a quest to catch "Walter", the biggest fish in the lake."
