Dear poptee-ga;
Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting question.
Reportedly, the feud between Ja Rule and 50 Cent (whose real name is
Curtis Jackson and who claims to have been shot 9 times in his life)
started after Ja Rule was robbed by one of 50 Cent?s buddies. They
have publicly traded insults in a number of rap songs and in "Loose
Change", for example, Ja Rule has been accused by some of calling 50
Cent a snitch.
Following the 2000 shooting in Jamaica, Queens, New York, 50 Cent
allegedly refused to cooperate with investigators. That coupled with
the lack of willing witnesses presumably makes a complete
investigation very difficult and perhaps even unlikley.
Police are still investigating leads into both the murder of rapper
D.O. Cannon and the shooting or artist 50 Cent. According to police,
upon being asked about any possible criminal connection between Ja
Rule and 50 Cent, and suggestions that Ja Rule played a part, they
said:
"We have not made a connection, but we are investigating both shootings very
carefully"

Since then, it has been reported that Federal prosecutors and the IRS
in an official affidavit have implicated Kenneth ?Supreme? McGriff,
who is allegedly a member of Murder, Inc., in the shooting of 50 Cent,
among other alleged crimes. While the affidavit also reportedly
mentions other well-known artists, none have yet been charged with the
crime.

To answer your question then, at the moment there seems to be no hard
evidence that Ja Rule himself was directly involved in the shooting of
rapper 50 Cent, but it should also be noted that the investigation is
not yet complete. As always of course, it would be inaccurate and
unfair to suggest that Ja Rule, or anyone else for that matter, did
commit this crime unless he/they are formally charged, tried and
convicted in a court of law ? and that has not happened.
