I?m putting together a portfolio (to print and to put on the web).
Below is a lot of information about myself.

I am looking for somebody to take the information below, ask me
questions (clarifications) if need be, and to put together two
versions of a biography for me. The first version should be 250-450
words and the second version should be briefer (about 100-200 words).

The information below is obscured to remove personal information (in
accordance with Google Answers requirements) but when you write the
bio, you can just use the placeholders I specified (i.e. Website1.com,
etc?).

I don?t require that all of this information is used? however; this is
what you have to choose from.

I?m asking somebody to write this for me in the hope that it will
sound great, it will be done professionally (I assume you will know
what I should include and what I shouldn?t) and to get some fresh
ideas.

Hello cornchip-ga,

I?d love to help you with your portfolio. The information you?ve
provided will be very useful. Before I get started I?d like to get a
better idea of what is the purpose of the profile you plan to use in
print and on your website as well as your personal and professional
style.

I?ve collected a selection of professional profiles from the web to
help us get a better understanding of your approach and preferences.
Look them over and let me know what kind of image and substance you
want to convey.

I look forward to your clarification.

I'm putting together a 48 page portfolio that will contain the
following. The portfolio will be given to:

. Prospective customers
. Prospective partners
. Recruiting agencies I'm trying to have place me

My website will have all of this information and probably a lot more.

Page 1- Biography, Mission Statement, Privacy Statement (I explain how
some customers don't like their name to be mentioned or their project,
and how I respect that).

The biography is about me.
The mission statement is about what I'm trying to achieve through my
work (talk about quality, integrity, etc...) I'm not asking you to
write this... if I like the Bio, I'd give a tip to write this.

Pages 2-3 About my company specifically (my network of developers, how
I communicate, my fees, etc...)

Pages 4-5 customer quotes

Pages 6-8 details about my publications

Pages 9-12 my detailed resume

Pages 13-16 my certifications, test results, etc...

Pages 17-24 details about 5-6 big projects I've worked on

Pages 25-35 samples of technical specifications, database design documents

Pages 36-48 ideas that I have for future project, looking for
investors, etc... other services I offer...

...

I hope this helps, if not, ask more questions.

BTW...

I'm not looking for a bulleted list of accomplishments. I'm looking
for a friendly group of paragraphs that read:

John Smith was educated at Univesity 1. He rocks. etc...

I can also use it in future books that I write... so if you think
about it like an "About the Author", that may help.

Hello cornchip~

Below, I've written up two bios; a shorter one (a la "About The
Author"), and a longer one, suitable as a bio on a website (each
following your word count requests). Since I could not view your
website, there were many blanks for me; but I think it will be easy
for you to fill in the blanks. If you have any questions, just let me
know!
