Hello, sageworksinc:
These are not modules, but full applications that can be installed
to run on your site, I can post an answer explaining for what each one
is useful. Are you interested in such answer? If not, just tell me
exactly what do you want to know in this question.

Regards.

Hello, sageworksinc:
Here is a list of the scripts you requested, with some comments of
what are the used for and my opinion in most cases. As you can see,
the list is long, but please, don't hesitate to request more detailed
info on any of them.

Blogs
-----
b2
http://cafelog.com/

It's a very simple web log, just to publish news, it's like the news
module of Postnuke.

b2evolution
http://b2evolution.net

Is a fork of b2, they have taken the source code of b2 and have
developed a new version, adding features, but without leaving the
simplicity of b2, that is, it's just a blog, not a full CMS (Content
Management System) as phpnuke and postnuke are.

About b2evolution
http://b2evolution.net/about/evolutionofb2.html

Nucleus
http://nucleuscms.org/

This is just another weblog, in the feature list there is nothing new
or great on this.

Nucleus features
http://nucleuscms.org/features.php

pMachine Free
http://www.pmachine.com/

Another weblog, but with more powerful publishing features, but note
the "Free" word, there is a free version with limited capabilities, is
suposed to be for personal, non-commercial use.

WordPress
http://wordpress.org/

This is an evolution of b2, checkout the about page

About

Content Management
------------------
Drupal
http://www.drupal.org/

Drupal is general purpose CMS, very powerful but a bit hard to use by
novice users, please, check out this other answer of mine to know more
about it:
http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=289973

Geeklog
http://www.geeklog.net/

Another CMS, without any originality, more of the same, I have used it
in the past and I prefere to use any kind of nuke, this script is not
updated very frequently.

PHP-Nuke
http://www.phpnuke.org/

The first CMS to be famous due the easy of use and installation, well,
I answered a question about it for you, what more can I say ;-)

Post-Nuke
http://www.postnuke.com

A fork of phpnuke, with the purpose to make it more secure and more open.

phpWebSite
http://phpwebsite.appstate.edu/

Another CMS, but developed by a university, in my opinion is very
primitive, but the main feature is that is XHTML and WAI compliant.

Siteframe
http://siteframe.org/

A "more-of-the-same" CMS.

Xoops
http://www.xoops.org

Yet another CMS, nothing new on the feature list, but the main feature
is that the code is OO (Object Oriented), that means that the code is
easy to maintain and expand.

Customer Support
----------------
Crafty Syntax Live Help
http://www.craftysyntax.com/CSLH/

A tool to provide chat support to customers

http://www.helpcenterlive.com/

A more complete solution that the previous one, because also allows
you to manage support tickets and a FAQ

http://scripts.sheddtech.com/ssm/

Another support system, but not very user friendly, also, not many features:

http://scripts.sheddtech.com/ssm/index.php?load=Features

Discussion Boards
-----------------
Invision Board
http://www.invisionboard.com/

A forum software, but it's not free as phpBB2, which I strong recommend

phpBB2
http://www.phpbb.com/

The best forum software ever made, fast, with a lot of customization
options and integrated in the most used CMS.

YaBBSE
http://www.yabbse.org/

Another bulletin board, but they require to pay if you want to remove
the copyright.

E-Commerce
----------
CubeCart
http://www.cubecart.com/

A shopping cart, but without reach the features of osCommerce.

OS Commerce
http://www.oscommerce.com

The perfect solution to run your virtual store, it has a lot of
modules that provide almost any required functionality

Image Galleries
---------------
4Images Gallery
http://www.4homepages.de/

A script devoted to let you build an image gallery site

Gallery
http://gallery.sourceforge.net/

Another gallery script, which seems more professional than the previous one.

Mailing Lists
-------------
PHPlist
http://tincan.co.uk/phplist

Allows you to run your own mailing list without require you to use a server.

Project Management
------------------
dotProject
http://www.dotproject.net/

A great software I have used/customized in the past, still some
features missed (for example, full project recolocation), but the best
of current solutions for project management on the web.

PHProjekt
http://www.phprojekt.com/

Is less featured than dotProject and much more ugly.

Other Scripts
-------------
