My personal belief is that nobody should be offended by anyone who is merely being honest, but I do realise that it happens nonetheless. I'll leave it to others to post a full answer to your question, but the two sides of the Scientology coin are easily accessible. If you look through the following two sites equally with an open mind, it should help you to find an understanding of what Scientologists stand for and of what their opponents accuse them. The Church of Scientology http://www.scientology.org/ Operation Clambake http://www.xenu.net/ Finally, I'd like to offer my appreciation that there is someone left on this planet who is willing to befriend someone without judgement who exists outside of their usual sphere of understanding. It does bode well for the world. |

Just make sure you are not confucing Scientology with Christian Science. They are not the same. Scientology is by far the more controversial religion, as you can see from the link provided by poe-ga at http://www.xenu.net/. |
