Well, converting the signals to run on UTP cabling seems to be as easy
as buying some adapters. I found many such at Patton Electronics
Company ( http://www.patton.com/ )

If, however, you're talking about mixing that signal along with data
traffic on a LAN, then the answer is probably no. The compression
needed to convert the signal into data just isn't viable. There may be
examples of attempts, but from what I can tell, there're mostly
unwatchable.

The only promising link was from an old Novell Developer network memo.
They rever to a product (WebCRE) which may not even exist. I can find
no other reference to it on the web.

If you are looking to broadcast video over your tcp/ip network using
multicast or udp and you are a bit computer savvy then you could look
at video 4 linux.
I have used it and it works well to play my dvd's from my main server
to my viewing machine.

The main site (which appears to be down had clients for osx windows
etc...) keep checking...

cheers
James.

I agree. If you have video that is already compressed, then Streaming
MPEG is an acceptable method, tho' I still think it would look yucky
at 10BaseT speeds. 100BaseT is a different story.

I believe the questioner was talking about live as-yet-uncompressed
video.
