I went from #2 spot when searching for "Wireless Network Consultants"
to not even being in the results. And the #1 spot is a site of with
in which I have a link to my site but google doesn't see the link to
my site. I have more links to my site than ever before but google
only sees one. My page rank has also dropped. I think this is because
google doesn't see the links to my site on other pages. I have
changed nothing on my site except for one link and I have changed that
back to the way it was. Am I simply a victim of google's
experimentation with their algorithms?

It is probably related to the filter that came into effect last
November and seems to have been tweaked again last week. If you
provide the URL of your site I might be able to provide a specific
answer for you.

I would say that it is the re-direct. In fact it seems to go through
two redirects before getting to:

The most appropriate way to combine Flash and HTML content is to offer
a link to the HTML and Flash pages from a static, non-redirecting
page. Or to have a normal HTML site and provide a link to the Flash
intro. Or to combine HTML and Flash in the home page. Redirects can be
perceived by search engines as spam.

"Don't employ cloaking or sneaky redirects. "

The idea of search engines is for the results to reflect the content
of the page referred to. Redirecting to different content is deceptive
and often used by spammers.

Often it is a case of choosing between a hi-tech attractive site and
one that will attain good search engine rankings.
