I am doing a project on vertebrate and invertebrate animals in
nigeria? I need information on their taxonomic classification, niche,
description, economic importance, etc. I also need pictures. Thanks

I need information on 10 vertebrates and 10 invertebrates. In addition
to the previously stated information for each animal, I also need to
know about whether each animal is on the endangered species list or
not. And if they are on the endangered species list, describe a brief
explanation (status and trend, eg., population estimates, history of
distribution, threats/reasons for decline).

Hello again Jaz04,
I saw a website which lists endangered animals that are present in
Nigeria. It lists all the kind of information you need for your animal
list, though it's only for vertebrates part, I believe. I will see if
there's more on invertebrates.

As techtor-ga mentioned, lists of vertabrates in Nigeria -- with
descriptions of taxonomies, ecologies, etc -- are available.

I have also found a comprehensive list of endangered species that
lists numerous invertebrates in Nigeria, along with taxonomy, but does
not provide the type of additional information you're looking for.

Please let us know how you wish to proceed on this question, given
both the availability -- and limits -- of the information.
