Hello--
I have carefully researched and considered your question and have your answer.
First, to make sure I knew exactly what kind of probe you were
refferring to, I conducted a Google search for the following terms:
Multitrode Probe
You may view the results of my search online. The link is
://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=multitrode+probe
You may view the exact specifications of the probe you inquired about
online. The link is I found the exact probe you were referring to,
along with other probes offered by MultiTrode. The link is
http://www.multitrode.com.au/zone_files/Acroba_pdf/multitrode_probe_international-datasheet.pdf?CFID=1493922&CFTOKEN=43307453
I then conducted a search for the following terms: "liquid level control system"
You may view the results of my search online. The link is
://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22liquid+level+control+system%22
I also conducted a Google search for the following terms: liquid level
control probe
You may view the results of this search online. The link is
://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=liquid+level+control+probe
I further conducted a Google search for the following terms: multi
liquid level control probe
You may view the results of this search online. The link is

There is no liquid level control probe that is exactly like the
MultiTrode Probe, as that exact probe is patented. However, I located
a number of similar units with multiple probes and other similar level
probes made by other manufacturers for you, which should help you.
First, I found the Multi-Level Probe And Level Monitor manufactured by
Northwest Tech-Con Systems, Ltd. This is a device with multiple
probes. The link is http://www.nwtc.ca/details.cfm?ProductID=39
I also found the Series 7110 EIA-485 Liquid Level Transducer. You may
contact a representative selling this transducer online. The link is
Sharman Incorporated

Next, I found the WAVO mk-II precision liquid level probe. It's
typically used with the WAVO mk-II precision liquid level control
unit. It's a tad different from the Multitrode. You may visit a web
site to read more about this unit online. The link is

Curtis Liquid Level Controls are available through Stevens
Engineering. You may view information about these probes online. The

SSAC Controls also has a similar liquid level probe. SSAC calls theirs
the Low Level Cutoff LLC6 Series Liquid Level Control. You may read
more about the SSAC probe online. The link is

National Controls, Inc., manufactures the Liquid Level Control with a
probe. You may read more information about this online. The link is
http://www.nationalcontrols.com/LL2-2.htm
McDonnell Miller manufactures the MM-202(J) Series PS-801/PS-851 Probe
Type Low Water Cut-offs. It's widely touted as "advanced" and
"inexpensive." This unit is the main competitor to the MultiTrode
unit. You may view information about this probe online. The link is
http://www.mcdonnellmiller.com/pdf/install_instr/MM-213D.pdf
Another link with more information about the McDonnell Miller unit is

Almeg Controls makes a Continuous Level Control. The link is
http://www.almegcontrols.com/level_controls_products.htm
Compraelec makes an infrared slim probe sensor. You may read about
this device online. The link is
http://www.compraelec.net/eng/detail.asp?ProductRef=2914&Ref=1489&Category=Water+Level+Controls
Multi Trode, of course, promotes its own probe, by stating that it's
the most reliable and most cost-effective liquid level control system
on the market.
You may read even more detailed information about MultiTrode's probe
online. The link is http://www.multitrode.com.au/products/probe/overview.cfm
The MultiTrode web site touts its product, saying it was "specifically
designed for the arduous, turbulent conditions encountered in water,
sewage and industrial tanks and sumps."
Further, I telephoned Liquid Handling Systems, which sells Multitrode
products in Southern California. I asked whether there is any level
measuring probe exactly like the Multitrobe. They said there is none
that is exactly like the Multitrobe, because Multitrobe has the patent
on the unit. But they did say the main competitors to Multitrobe
probes are some of the units I listed above in this answer.
I hope this helps. If you need any further information or any
clarification, please don't hesitate to click the "clarify" button.
Thank you,
