I need to know how many notebook (laptop) (not desktop) computers are
purchased annually in the US for use specifically by teenagers, high
school students, or people under the age of 18. (meaning purchased by
family, or the student him/herself... not by schools or organizations
for students.)

A reasonable estimation based on several sources would be acceptable.

eg: it's estimated that n% of teens have their own notebook computers...

eg: On average, people are replacing notebook computers every n.
years. Therefore, it's likely that the number of computers purchased
for teens each year is (number).
