Title is the most important tag you can optimize to get your website
found. Best to do it right and not rely on one person's opinion.

I would suggest you hang out where the SEO's chit chat about this
stuff all day long so you can at least make an informed decision and
read differing opinions. Here is one example.

Good luck with your site.

Hi Sheila ~

If you want to know about what's important and how to do it right ...

Jill Whalen's High Rankings, http://www.highrankings.com and here is
the list that I often include when I'm doing a site critique:

   * Detlev Johnson, Search Engine Guide
     - http://www.searchengineguide.com/detlev/

   * Danny Sullivan, Search Engine Watch
     - http://www.searchenginewatch.com/

   * Jill Whalen, High Rankings

   * Shari Thurow, Web Pro News (and quoted all over the Internet)

who all have columns or newsletters to which you can subscribe and
keep abreast of the best way to use good content for better
positioning in search engine results.

In addition, Webmaster World - http://www.webmasterworld.com/ - has
discussion boards on most of the search engines. While some of the
discussions are anecdotal and/or questions for information, there is
usually enough discussion to keep abreast of what seems to be
happening.

There is an entire section devoted to Google at:

Do a bit of poking about and you'll find all sorts of useful information.

Remember, take it *all* as pretty good advice, but also with a grain of salt.

The only one who really knows what Google's doing is Google, and
they're not talking.

Use names and discussions you can trust, but the list above are some
of the most acknowledged people in search engine optimization.

Good Luck,
Serenata
