I'm looking for a device that can "write" text. I saw it many years ago
that I can't remember anything, other that it existed.

It was used in the offices of some congressmen to sign papers with a real pen.

This device must be able to attach to a PC and "write" caligraphy text
and should have at least 4 different "fonts" or styles.

It should be ideal for writing names on invitations.

Here are two devices that you may want to consider:

http://www.coastautoscript.com/index.htm

You can achieve a similar effect by using a calligraphic font with a
standard inkjet or laser printer. Very nice results can be produced,
at a much lower price.

I know that similar results can be achieved using standard printers.

I'm looking for device that can write in different styles with a pen:

1.- Results should not look like they were printed.
2.- The paper must not be bent.
3.- Sent text to be printed by a PC
4.- Can have different (2,3) styles of writing

Points #1 and #2 pretty much discard printers.

The Signature Machine and the Auto Script both satisfy only point #1
and #3 but not #3 and #4.
