I AM LOOKING INTO BUYING A NEW FORD F-250 (TRUCK),BUT BEFORE I DO, I WANT TO KNOW IF THE 2005 MODEL WILL BE COMPLETLY REDESIGNED, OR IF THERE WILL BE ONLY SLIGHT MODIFICATIONS MADE TO THE CURRENT DESIGN. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPLY ME WITH AN ANSWER FROM ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WEB PAGES. THANKS! http://popularmechanics.com/automotive/spy_reports/2003/1/detroit_spy_report/print.phtml http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/2005/ford/superduty/caught.html |

tonkaboy-ga: The best clue I can point you towards is this following article: http://www.courier-journal.com/business/news2003/11/01/biz-front-dana01-5873.html Since Ford will now need to negotiate a new supplier deal for the frame of the Super Duties after 2006 (ie. 2007 model year), there's a reasonable chance that they may decide now to only make cosmetic changes (which can still be dramatic) to the existing design. Beyond this clue, Ford has not yet announced their plans, so anything else you hear will be pure speculation from the automotive press. Regards, aht-ga Google Answers Researcher. |
