Hi sooner-ga!

Assuming you are using latest version of internet explorer (if not,
please ask for clarification), you can clear the data using clicking
'Tools' on the menu at the top of internet explorer's menu, then
'Internet Options', then the 'Content' tab, then the 'Auto complete'
button.

By unchecking the box 'Forms', your searches will no longer be stored,
and no drop down menu will appear. This is also true for other
'forms' that you fill out regularly - you may have noticed this
feature outside of the google homepage.

However, if you simply wish to delete the records, and maintain this
feature, then click the 'Clear Forms' button.

Thanks for the question, and if this doesn't work for you, please
request clarification.
