Hello panther77,

I inquired about the case to the judicial authorities in Hong Kong,
and received this reply:

Thank you for your email. We have made searches with the information
provided by you and regret that we are unable to locate any such
judgment on our Legal Reference System.

However, you may write to the Registrar, High Court for information.
The address is "Registrar, High Court,High Court Building, 38
Queensway, Hong Kong. Attention: Clerk of Court".

If they can't find it, though, I doubt anyone can. Are you certain of
the details of the case? Are you sure it originated in Hong Kong?
Any additional information you could provide might help us track it
down for you.

Good luck.

Note to Reseachers:
Unfortunately the Hong Kong Legal Information Institute on-line
database (at least in English) does not go back as far as 1977/1978

Do a search engine search on the phrase "Hong Kong attorneys" or Hong
Kong probate attorneys or lawyers to find an e-mail address for
someone in Hong Kong or perhaps even a paralegal there who can help
you find this exact case.
