Since Connectix has been absorbed by Microsoft, Connectix support for
Doubletalk does not exist. Where can I get support for Connectix
Doubletalk, including the upgrade to v1.1?
Thanks

rbande1-ga:

It doesn't look good, I'm afraid. According to this interview given by
the Connectix CEO after selling the Virtual Machine assets of
Connectix to MS:

http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,,898706,00.asp

Connectix was considering shutting down operations. Based on the
records kept at the Internet Archive:

http://web.archive.org/web/*/connectix.com

it looks like this happened sometime between the end of June, 2003,
and the scheduled end of Connectix's transition period in October,
2003.

I'll see if I can find an alternate download location for the product
update file, which was originally available on the Connectix website
as:

http://www.connectix.com/downloadcenter/updates/updaters_domestic/dt110_update_jul1801.sit

(dead link, of course, as the website no longer exists)

I'm also working on getting the DoubleTalk updater; aht-ga, let me
know if you give up.

To rbande1-ga:
Would posting a location for the updater suffice as an answer?

Thanks
