For a while now I have been trying to set up a very simple
client/server JMF system where my server broadcasts multimedia and the
client reads it. I have tried using the free apple Darwin server,
which works great if I use the quicktime java implementation and
access it across the WAN/internet using the rtsp protocol. The problem
with that is that my users would have to download the quicktime .dll's
in order for this to work, which I do not want them to do. I just want
an applet which does not require any additional installs on the client
side. When I try to use the darwin server with the JMF client/
JMStudio/etc I get nothing.

Can anyone provide me with a working client/server prototype using
JMF? I need the source code if possible.

Thanks
