Congratulations on wanting to further your education, especially in
such a field! I?ve seen hundreds of babies enter the world, and it?s
still an awesome sight!
I am assuming you understand that a nursing/midwife class online will
involve some on-site studies (Labs, vitals, assessments, etc.) that
simply can?t be accomplished online. Completing a nursing degree is
not the same as completing, for example, a business online degree that
requires no patient interaction and clinical skills. If one of these
online schools interests you, I would recommend talking to a
college/university nursing program near you. See if they will accept
the online course you have chosen, and if they can coordinate your
labs and onsite training. If so, you can complete your didactic
portion online, and the practical portion close to home -- balancing
the two to your advantage!
