Where can I find information for relatives of those suffering from
clinical depression? Resources based in the UK would be preferable.

The sites I am going to refer you to give advice on depression:
symptoms, causes, treatment etc., and places for relatives to seek
advice. I recommend you explore each web site as they contain a great
deal of information.

Depression Alliance

This site was recommend by web site of Royal College of Psychiatrists
"Depression Alliance is the leading UK charity for people affected by
depression. This web site contains information about the symptoms of
depression, treatments for depression, as well as Depression Alliance
campaigns and local groups".  On my Internet Explorer browser the site
worked best by pressing F11 on your keyboard to expand the screen
size. Press F11 again to return it to normal. (poor design of web
site)
