Question ID: 303124
I am in the market for a 30 inch, widescreen, thin flat screen tv that
mounts to a wall. I am looking for quality but don't want to spend
thousands of dollars. What products are out there?

Hello Amyst777,
When you say thousands, how much is your maximum? Say, $2000?

By the way, just to give you an idea, there are 30" LCD TVs that cost
US$3500 and below, but are not wall-mountable. I have yet to see if
there are others that could fit your needs and your price.

Hi! Yes, $2000 sounds like a good maximum price. I know there are TVs
for that price, but I am specifically in the market for a thin one to
mount on a wall in a room with no space for furniture to hold a
box-style TV. Thanks for your help!

Hello again Amyst777,
Thanks for clarifying. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that $2000 could
be used as a ceiling (I just mentioned it to ask you if you have your
own price ceiling in mind). The LCD TV models I found are
wall-mountable, but nothing goes below $2000. Only one goes a bit
below $2700, and most range from $2999 to $3999 in price! I just
wonder if this is quite a price shock for you. I will make sure to
exclude models that go $4000 above, they are certainly going to be
bigger models.

Let me correct myself. I came upon some models below $3000... make it
$3200 to be safe. Most of the models I found follow the price range of
that maximum down to $2600. Is that still a bit affordable for you?

Sorry for the delay - I never got a notification that you had asked
for a further clarification! Yes that still sounds ok - maybe we
should slightly change the parameters of the question to ask what are
the 5 least expensive models of the TV explained in the original
question, and are they any good? What's the best for the least?
Thanks for all your help!
