We are currently redesiging our website and I was wondering, if we
develop our website in aspx, does it reduce search engines ability to
rank us, compared to developing the pages in HTML.

I think it will actually improve your ranking...

I have several websites and it is far better to have pages with
dynamic content. There are more easily handled and also you have
greater flexibility to change the contents in the fly. Lately I have
been experimenting with php which is extremely powerful.

Google sometimes chooses not to index pages with dynamic content. If
it does index your site, being ASPX, PHP, HTML, TXT or whatever will
not affect the ranking of the pages.
