I have had DSL for one year and have just cancelled the

valid as I should have done it over the phone,so they say.My problem
is that until they free up my DSL connection British Telecom can,t
connect me to a new supplier and Freeserve are impossible to
contact. The only contat I can have is about paying money from when I
cancelled until now(when I did it verbally)How can I get them to free
up my DSL Line?

You could change the name on your BT bill - this will force a cease in
the ADSL service. You may be liable for the rest of years charges from
freeserve through.
