Hi There ! I know "socially responsible" investing was very popular several years ago. If memory serves, these mutual funds generally trailed the market. A 5-star answer to this question would be: Are there mutual funds devoted solely to environmental or "green" investing? In general, how have they done versus the market? Please note that other forms of socially responsible investing (e.g., no tobacco, no defense stocks, no liquor, etc.) is not what I need, and would not help me with this environmental project. All comments greatly appreciated ! ron P.S. If possible, please complete this question by Thursday 8 AM (Pacific Standard Time). Thanks mucho ! |

There's a nice list of socially-conscious mutual funds here. Many of these would qualify as "green": http://www.socialinvest.org/areas/sriguide/mfsc.cfm |
