I installed oracle personal database 9.2.0.1.0 and then Developer
suite R2. During the installation of the database, the Agent
Configuration Tool did not run successfully, although SQL Plus runs
fine. I am able to login, run queries on SQL Plus. In DS i am able to
login and connect with the database. However when I run the form, i
get the following error:
FRM-10142 HTTP Listener is not running at <Computer Name> port 8888
etc. I tried a google search for this problem. Most of them asked me
to start the OC4J instance which i always did. Also some asked me to
check the apache server. I started the Apache server by going to
start>All programs>Oracel OraHome92> Oracle HTTP server> Start Apache
server. Even then i got the same error.
NOte:I am doing this installation on a latop which has a wireless
access to the web. Also when i go to the services, the oracle HTTP
server does not start automatically even though it is set to do so.
when i manually start it, it immediately terminates.
please let me know what is the solution for this problem.
