I'm looking for literature and studies into horror movies that relate
to the psychodynamic approach to psychology. Because Freud is the most
famous exponent of this approach, using his name as a search term I
get overwhelmed with casual references, not serious studies. Anything
found must relate to the psychodynamic approach. Thanks

Hello chrisb46

An interesting topic, but could we check what you mean by the
"psychodynamic approach" in the context of horror movies?

There are a few articles online approaching horror movies from a
psychoanalytic/Freudian perspective. Would links to these be a
suitable answer to your question? If this isn't what you want, please
could you say more about what you're hoping for? And if you have
already found some material on the net, do be sure to say, so that we
don't just duplicate what you have already.

Thanks - Leli
