I need to know the national average for the number of behavioral/mental health counselors per capital. So for example...for every 10,000 people how many behavioral/mental health counselors serve those people? "Behavioral" and "Mental" health is one in the same. "Behavioral" is the new trend maybe more politically correct. |

Hello azgirl-ga, Your question will be impossible to answer unless you define clearly who is included in your categories. For instance, the State of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners issues certificates for Substance Abuse, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Social Work. Each state has somewhat different categories. This is also true of employee assistance and health care providers. Good luck. ~ czh ~ |
