I have a principal email address and an alias address (i.e., another
"identity"). Is it possible to configure Outlook Express so that
messages that are addressed to the latter are also simultaneously forwarded
to the former?

Hi nautico,

It is possible to automatically forward emails from one email account
to another in Outlook Express.

The following is a step by step guide on how to do this.

Automatically Forward E-mail from Outlook Express:

"1. From the TOOLS menu, select MESSAGE RULES and then click MAIL.

2. Under SELECT CONDITIONS FOR YOUR RULE, choose the appropriate
selection for your forwarding rule. If you would like to forward all
e-mail, select FOR ALL MESSAGES.

3. Under SELECT THE ACTIONS FOR YOUR RULE, choose FORWARD TO PEOPLE.

4. Under RULE DESCRIPTION, click on PEOPLE.

5. In the ADDRESS FIELD, type the e-mail address that you would like
your e-mail forwarded to and click OK.

6. You may type a different name for the rule or leave the default value.

7. Click OK, then click OK again.

Please note:
Outlook Express must be open in order to automatically forward e-mail.
After setting up automatic forwarding you should send a test message
to verify that your e-mail is forwarded correctly."
