Hi...

Any kind of a Rex breed such as a Cornish or Devon Rex. These cats are
said to be good for people with Asthma or allergies to cat dander. My
sister owns a beautiful Cornish Rex. The breed is known for its
intelligence and cleanliness. Here is a pic of a Devon Rex:

As you can see, the fur on these cats is not like regular cat fur. Its
very short, fine and wavy....very little shedding...
There are quite a few websites that will give you more information on
these beautiful cats!!!
Good luck!!

Both Rex cats and Sphynx cats are noted for being relatively
hypoallergenic, but only for some people. Those who are allergic to
certain proteins in cat saliva (deposited on the cat's skin and fur
during grooming) may react to Rex and Sphynx as much as to other
breeds. This is a highly individual thing.

Since having asthma isn't the same as being allergic to cat dander,
any cat may be fine. My husband, who has pretty severe asthma, has had
all sorts of cats--including long haired ones, and never had it make
his asthma worse.
