I have access to a very large market through phones.
I am looking for affiliate sites that offer commision and per-call
payments for gathering callers to a 1-900 or any other pay-per-call
numbers. For example, if the number is an adult hotline, and the
charge is $2.95 per minute, if the company has an affiliate program
where basically you get paid for having people call it and get either
a percentage or a per-call commission -- thats the sort of program I
am looking for.
Im hoping to find atleast 10 or so sites that should have this.
Another interesting idea would be to have some other sort of a site
that offers goods or services that are sold through 1900 payment
methods which are basically charged to the phone bill. Those
affiliates should offer a percentage of the sale to their promoters.
Any other interesting offers are accepted.
Thank you for taking interest,
Sincerely,

I would like to point out that I am not interested in those "Dialer"
affiliates, which have a "hidden" dialer installed on a victim's
computer and dials into a pay-per-minute system, charing the victim
most of the time without them even knowing. I would not accept such
sources as the answer since most of them deal in not so legitimate
means.
Thank you

Also, if you are a researcher, and read this question. But have
decided to not research it, would you be so kind as to post a comment
about why you've made that decision ? Thank you.

Do you mean outfits like FutureQuest:
http://www.custom900.com/termsandconditions.html
Some researchers might have had qualms about answering this because
1-900 numbers have . . . well, a not-so-great reputation. They are
associated with calls to psychic hotlines and adult chat, etc. And, as
you noted, many have have hidden fees associated with them.
Since you are interested in using programs that DON'T have "hidden
dialers" with "hidden fees," I am willing to try and research your
question.
I just want to be clear that people using your service -- whatever the
nature of the service may be -- understand that it's a pay-per call
service and that they are told upfront what the charges will be
per-minute, etc.

Hello nancylynn,
Thank you for taking your time to answer my question.
Allow me to clarify a few points:
1) I do not wish to deceive my customers in any way. I absolutely have
no intention of worsening the bad reputation of 1900 market by
deception.
2) My interest in this sort of a business relies on the fact of me
having access to a very stable "phone-involving" market which has a
great potential.
3) As you pointed out the site :
http://www.custom900.com/termsandconditions.html
I am ultimately not interested in opening my own 1900 number,
especially if it requires such a large first-time deposit to open a
one. I am more intersted in an "affiliate" program where one simply
signs up and gets comissioned sales.
4) The market is ready to take either the psychic, adult, or singles
meeting lines. Ofcourse there has been much of a fuss over such
services, but I am ready to carry on with the plan without getting my
hands dirty.
Once again, thank you for taking interest in this subject,
Sincerely,
Gary

Thank you for clarifying just what it is you're seeking.
I really think the Miss Cleo debacle of a few years ago still lingers,
meaning many customers prefer to use online chats for both psychic and
adult conversation. See the article "1-900 Extinct?":
http://telephonyonline.com/ar/telecom_extinct/
So, as you undoubtedly know, nearly all "affiliate programs" are now
Web, not phone, oriented.
The only answer I can provide for you would be to list the very few
affiliate programs that really match your parameters; then, increase
your prospects by also including:
1): Companies that will help affiliates setup a Web site and/or a 900
# at a small fee or absolutely free.
2): Large 1-900 businesses which sell and setup 1-900 lines. I figure
these companies must need to increase their phone line resources, so
they might be open to negotiating with you.
If that would be an acceptable answer for you, let me know. Otherwise,
we'll leave this question open in hopes that another Researcher can
find 10 companies with the affiliate program you desire.
