This is a tough one, because this company is so new. It doesn't really
have a track record.

I conducted a search with the Pennsylvania Department of State. All
companies need to be registered with this agency in order to conduct
business in PA. You may search this database online. The link is
http://www.dos.beta.state.pa.us/CorpsApp/Corpsweb/Search/wfFreeEntitySearch.aspx

I found that this business is in fact registered to conduct business
in Pennsylvania. However, this business is brand new. You can see that
it registered with the state just last month. The following is the
information the state has on them:

Entity Type PENNSYLVANIA BUSINESS CORPORATION
Entity Name BDM&O FINANCIAL GROUP, INC.
Entity No. 3193957
Filing Date 01/16/2004 Letter of Consent No
Address 4900 PERRY HWY BLDG 2 STE 120
PGH Pennsylvania USA 15229
County Allegheny Jurisdiction -
Purpose RETAIL BROKERAGE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Limited Authority No

You may view this information online. The link is
https://www.dos.beta.state.pa.us/CorpsApp/Corpsweb/Search/wfEntityDetails.aspx?EntityNo=3193957&FilingNo=1

What specific information are you seeking about this company and this individual?

Thanks,

DeAndrea left his job as financial adviser at my bank and I now have
to decide if it is save to transfer my account to him or to leave it
at my old bank where I do not know anyone else.

Financial brokers are required to register, and records are kept of
their employment history, areas of registration, complaints, any
actions taken, etc.

For instance, there is a file on your broker, that reads (in part):

JOSEPH JOHN DEANDREA
BILL FEW SECURITIES
Brokerage Firm CRD Number: 41917
4900 PERRY HIGHWAY
PITTSBURGH, PA 15229
USA
Start Date: 01/16/2004

==========

This sounds like your man.

If you'd like, I can post information about how to access the full
records (which are sometimes available online, or else they will be
mailed to you, at no charge from the regulating authority).

Let me know.

The telephone number listed for them here:

http://phonebook.superpages.com/yellowpages/C-Financial+Services/S-PA/T-Pittsburgh/

seems to belong to Atd Contracting Inc.

erna11-ga:

You may wish to take this opportunity to inform your current bank that
you are considering moving your account now that your financial
advisor is no longer with them. If they value your business, then they
should assign you someone who can 'save the sale', ie. someone who
will both shower you with the attention that you may have received
from your previous advisor, as well as enough sound advice to help
retain your business. If, after a trial period of 3 months, you find
that you are not happy with the new advisor's services, you are still
free to move your account to follow your old advisor. This will also
provide enough time for your old advisor to get to know his new firm.
If he is worthy of your trust, then that will be enough time for him
to find out if his new firm is honest. If he is honest himself, then
he would advise you accordingly whether you should be moving your
account there. If he is not honest... well, then let's hope you're a
good judge of character.

Good luck,
