Howdy sashap-ga,
What is the climate (cold, dry, wet, snowy, etc.) like
where you are planning on building the track? Do you
want it to be permanent or temporary? What kind of
equipment (rollers, etc.) do you have access to, and
what is your budget for materials (sand, etc.)?
Thanks! denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher

The track will be in Greece so we are talking about very hot-dry
summers and mild winters. The track will be permanent.
The main thing that interests me is the quality of the track, so
access to equipment and budget is not of primary concern (although if
you state alternative cheaper options, it will be greatly
appreciated).
Many thanks

I also need to know of any special actions which must be done during
construction, such as "material x must be placed in layers of y
thickness and compacted".

Howdy sashap-ga,
I have an Answer for you, and I think it will cover your points
of interest, but I think your $100 price might be too high, and
I don't want you to be displeased with either the Answer or the
Google Answers service.
You could do several things, including closing this Question and
asking a new Question specifically asking for me, and setting it
a lower price, such as $10. If my Answer to that Question is of
more value than that to you, then you can handle that in a tip.
Please advise, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher
