Greetings,  

I need some help for a new research project...  The below is not so
much time consuming, but more of how much you might know about this
industry. This is a two part question. If you can answer one and not
the other, please post a comment and I will list a separate question
for that part. I would like, however, both parts answered at once if
possible.

PART I:
I would like to know if LCD products manufactured by any of the below
Taiwanese companies are being sold in the U.S. market under a
different brand name. I will also like to know where I can obtain, in
the U.S., products made by these manufacturers (or their U.S. brand
name). Wholesale sources is what I?m after, but retail will do if
wholesale cannot be located.

Taiwanese manufacturers:
aBenQ, AmTran, Quanta, Chimei (NexGen), Honjet Technologies, APlus
Technics (appear to be manufacturing the Philips and AudioVox line)

If you cannot obtain information on all of these, then post what you
are able to obtain.


PART II:
I?m looking for U.S. wholesale sources where I can purchase the
following products. If there aren?t any wholesale sources, then retail
would do (i.e. specific product only made for/sold by Dell/Gateway
only).  I?m looking for screen sizes 15" - 22" range, multiple 15"
choices especially valuable for LCDs.
   
1) Desktop CDM, CRTs and/or LCDs, made by DELTA and TATUNG
Country of manufacturer: Thailand (first choice) or Malaysia
If made by DELTA then still acceptable even if made in Taiwan or China
If made by TATUNG then still acceptable even if made in Taiwan or China

2) Desktop CDM, CRTs and/or LCDs, made by NPG
Country of manufacturer: HK
If made by NPG, then still acceptable even if made in TW or China

3) Desktop CDM, CRTs only, made by Victory(includes AOC), Lite-On,
Proview, Compal, Jean, Xoceco, Tatung, Sampo and BenQ*.
Country of manufacturer: China or TW
