86 Broadway, New York in 1814 and in the first volume of their bound
Bible (also dated 1814) the address was No 242 Pearl Street, New York.

to provide for proper research on this question? I will contact the

Hello larryw-ga,
As I think this is your first experience with Google Answers, allow me
to explain the process a bit.
I posted the information I had found earlier just as an FYI. I
thought the information might be useful to you, but it clearly didn't
answer your question, so I didn't feel it would be appropriate to post
it as an answer and collect the fee you have offered.
For a higher priced question, I might well have pursued the query
further, and tried to dig up more details on Mssrs Dodge and Sayre.
But given the amount of "digging" that likely would be needed, I
didn't feel I could justify the effort at the current list price.
So...in specific answer to your questions:
>>What more information can I provide?<<
If you have any additional information at all that would help me or
another researcher focus our research efforts, by all means, post it
here. Otherwise, no additional info is needed.
>>...what raised level of payment do I need to provide for proper
research on this question?<<
Depends what you mean by "proper research". If you want a researcher
to follow-up with the various sources I provided, you should make that
clear, and offer compensation commensurate with the level of effort.
As I said above, I couldn't justify that amount of effort at the
current list price (I'm not sure I could devote the time needed at any
price, but other researchers might not be quite as constrained as I am
in that regard).
>>I will contact the sources you suggested<<
Please do, and I hope they bear fruit.
>>If they provide my answers I will okay payment on this question<<
That would be most gracious of you...let me know what you find out.
==========
Let me know if you need more information, or if anything here isn't
clear. The process at Google Answers can be a bit confusing at times,
so we're happy to assist you as best we can in making the best use of
it.
Good luck.
