Global Security.org states that over 4,000 US troops were deployed to
Afganistan by late January 2002 in the article "Operation Enduring Freedom -
Order of Battle".

Are you looking for the number of these 4,000 US Troops who turned to Jesus for
the first time while in Afganistan, or simply those who prayed to Jesus during
their deployment?

Thanks for your clarification,
Penguin
