Hello, wayfinding-ga!
I believe I have found the most complete information on villas that
are publicly advertised for rent in Costa Careyes. Many of the
advertised "Villas" are very large, expensive homes so I hope this is
what you had in mind. If not, let me know and I will search further.

"Casa Careyes has one of the most spectacular loactions in Costa
Careyes, an exclusive community of private homes on Mexico?s Pacific

free-form swimming pool. There are five air conditioned bedrooms (four

four bathrooms and a full time staff of eight, including a chef and

occupied by Tom Ford, Francis Ford Coppola, Claudi Schiffer, and Oprah

VILLA VISTA HERMOSA (a beautiful but expensive option!)
http://www.villavistahermosa.com/
"Villa Vista Hermosa overlooks Chamela Bay and nine picturesque
islands along the beautiful Costa Careyes of Mexico. This area was
designated the "Mexican Riviera" by Antenor Patino (the Bolivian tin
magnate) who developed Las Hadas and the Las Alamandas resort next
door. Also along the coastline is the Bel Air Hotel and the estate of
the late Sir James Goldsmith."

If the "Villas" I have described are too large, you might want to
consider the individual "villas" (actually, bungalows) at El Tamarindo
Golf Resort, which is a 30-minute drive from Costa Careyes. A
description of the resort is available in the following article:
"Escape to Mexico?s Luxurious Costa Alegre," By Kristin N. Miller. The
Daily Press. http://www.vvdailypress.com/beauty/takeme/coastal/
