Is it possible in Word to format the pages (numbering, columns) so
that, when printed, multiple pages can stacked, folded, and stapled in
the middle, and come out in the right order?
For example, an eight page publication, (2 sheets, printed
double-sided). The first sheet has page 1 on the right, page 8 on the
left. On the other side of this sheet would be page 2 on the left,
page 7 on the right. When folded, page 1 is on front, page 8 on the
back. I don't know what this format would be called to search for it
myself.
Would this setup allow pages to be inserted and have everything renumber as needed?
Is this beyond Word's capability?
Thanks

Close, but no cigar. The instructions from the newsgroup posting
allowed me to print page 2 on the back of 1, 4 on the back of 3, etc.
FinePrint doesn't seem to be able to do what I want either.
I'm looking for a layout solution, not a printing solution.
I'm looking for some way to split the first page/sheet into 2 columns
so that page 1 is in one column and the last page is in the other
column, page 2 is with the second last page, etc.
If not Word, is this something Publisher might be able to handle?
Thanks
