I would like to get a list of 10 companies in the US and 10 within the
European Union that offer services for sending out customer emails.

The services should be reliable, have a good reputation, and be
suitable for sending out emails for 15 countries to 100,000
subscribers a month. 

A quick rating, 1-5 stars, with some comments of
the service, based on impression the researcher gets, would make me
very happy.

You explained in your question that you are looking for companies that
can send around 100000 emails per month to your subscribers. As far as
I know, there are a few very powerful e-mail marketing software that
can do the job. On the other hand, the companies that I will mention
are those that will charge you an additional fee because they help you
create more interesting (rich media etc) emails and work with you on
one to one basis, to effectively market your email campaign. Are you

Good that you like to work on the question!

To the clarification: Please include these broader companies as well.
We have already, together with a marketing agency, developed nice HTML
emails, so the focus on additional services in this area should not be
high. Furthermore, the unsubscribe/subscribe process should be handled
on our own web site. Database services etc are also nothing that
brings me value.

What I am mostly interested in, is detailed statistics and an easy way
to manage access rights (some people can only view statistics, other
only prepare emails, other access all countries etc etc.). If you have
any other clarification needs, just let me know.

Hello tornell-ga:

I am glad that you liked the answer. I think, it is best to find a
service where your own business is located. By the location of your
business, I mean, eihter the location of your company, the location of
your services where they originate from or your personal location.

The reason being that it is easy to communicate with the service
provider if you get into problems. Moreover, it will be a lot easier
for the servicemen, consultant or any other representative of the
company to contact you. Another big advantage is that you and the
company will understand the local business environment to better
communicate and help each other.

The only exception to that might be if you have an overwhelming
subscribers from any one destination ( I will say more than 80 percent
).

I liked your answer. However, I only gave 4 stars, and that is because
of the reason that I know that there are many good email services (and
sometimes better priced than in UK) in Northern Europe, Germany and in
the Netherlands. To be inconsistent, I tip you to make sure that you
know that I appreciate your answer a lot. I might come back for an
evaluation of a list of companies based on my requirement
specification. I just have to look a little further into the different
