Hello,

I'm considering entering the world of e-commerce. I'm interested in
selling party related items similar to the online store
http://www.epartyunlimited.com & http://www.coolstuffcheap.com/ .

I'm curious on how businesses like these fare. I haven't really been
able to find any concrete evidence on how these items sell. I would
like any information you could provide on the party/novelty supply
business. From information on what are average markups
for products, success stories, horror stories, the pros and cons of
this type of business, leads to any websites that are informative,
magazine subscriptions about the trade. Really any information that
you can provide, but more than anything- how these businesses fare, do
they stick around awhile or fizzle out within a year?

Thank you in advance!

Oh, just a quick add-on question: While looking for wholesale items to
populate my inventory, I was told by someone that unless a wholesaler
asks for my business license/ID I'm dealing with a reseller and not
getting a true wholesale price. Is this true?
