Residential Furnishings Segment of Leggett & Platt, Inc. Leggett is a
diversified manufacturing company that is included in the Fortune 500.

Vantage Industries manufactures a variety of products (mostly mats and
boards) for commercial and residential use that are composed of PVC

Vantage Industries
Vantage Industries, an Atlanta, Georgia company, was acquired by
Leggett and Platt in 1994. The Coated Fabrics Division was formed as a
result of the acquisition of Sunbelt Products in 1995.
The basic products manufactured are a PVC coated polyester substrate
which is used in a variety of commercial and residential applications,
and an EVA coated substrate used as rug pad for rug over carpet
applications.
Examples of products produced by Vantage include: shelf liners, bath
mats, shower mats, and sink mats, place mats, transportation damage
prevention mats, yoga and physical therapy mats, non-slip poster
boards and camping mats, among others.
The Coated Fabrics Division sells its products under the Vantage
Industries brand name to specialty stores, mass merchants, variety
stores, hardware/home centers, department stores, national chain
stores, catalog and electronic retailers and mass merchants in the
retail channels of distribution globally.

LEGGETT & PLATT ACQUIRES RUG-HOLD
ATLANTA ? The Coated Fabrics division of Leggett & Platt, Inc. has
purchased The Rug-Hold Co., according to a joint announcement by
Robert F. Weber, president of Leggett & Platt?s Coated Fabrics
Division and O.A. (Bud) Wyman, president of Rug-Hold.
Rug-Hold will continue to be marketed as a separate product line.
Offices will relocate from Dalton, GA to Atlanta. Bud Wyman will
remain actively involved in a consulting capacity.
Leggett & Platt also owns Vantage Industries, which makes underlay,
shelf lining and other consumer products.
