Dear researchers:
We have a cultural website called Pop Thing (www.popthing.com) a non -
profit site devoted to the sixties pop culture, which includes music
(we feature lot of great bands, from The Beatles to The Byrds, Kinks,
early Stones...) and european films (french, italian and british). The
site is going on since 1999, and is all written in spanish. We take
our job seriously, and we write our articles and reviews after long
hours of research. We have a real good reputation. Since we have lots
of top quality info in the site, we would like that Google lists all
the pages included in Pop Thing. This is not what is happening: Google
shows some of our pages, just a few, and we donīt even know why they
are listing those pages and not others. So here is our questions: what
can we do to correct this and to get most of the pages included in our
website listed in Google? We believe that if this can be done, more
people will find us and will get very good free info about the
sixties. Thank you very much for your time!
Kindest regards,

Miguel Valpuesta

Hi,

You should probably read this page first
://www.google.es/intl/es/webmasters/2.html

And then if there is anything you didn't understand there, you could
come back. Basically, you are using frames, doorway pages, flash, and
huge amounts of pictures, which bots can't get into your site using.

It is a really nice site though.. I enjoyed going through it.

Dear Webadept:
Thank you very much for your comments. We have been reading the help
page you mentioned, and it must be said that the information we have
found there is very good and valuable. However, we donīt understand a
couple of things (we are not into programming, we are just using
Dreamweaver!):
- What is The NOFRAMES Tag?
- We have understand the examples, but... Where in the code of the
main page should we put the alternative text destined for the robots
that canīt read the frames?

Sorry if we are asking new questions! This is the first time we are
using 'Google Answers' and donīt know if we should pay an extra fee
for this. Anyway, we would like to mention you in our site (if you
agree) to let everybody knows that your advices helped our site to
grow.

Thanks for your time.
Kindest regards,

Miguel Valpuesta Landa & the Pop Thing team.
