Question ID: 305954
I need to know something about the state contractor's licensing law
for each of our 50
states in the US. Specifically, I ONLY need to know what surety bond
amount the licensed contractor needs to post in each state or whether
a state has a requirement for a surety bond to secure a contractor's
license

Richad--

One point of clarification: Are you referring specifically to
home-improvement contractors (plumbers, roofers, electricians, etc.),
or are you referring to another type of contractor?

Thanks,

darrel-ga

I am referring to construction contractors, like you describe, general
contractors and speciality contractors, like electrical, etc.

I am not interested in other professionals, such as, consultants or
design professionals.

does this answer your question?
